Sugar Creek Scrap Inc is a scrap metal recycling company in Indiana, United States that purchases old metals from individuals. David Levin grew up in Peru, Indiana, where he assisted his father in operating a small scrap yard. After his father’s passing, he continued recycling and took over the business. In 1968, he migrated to Terre Haute, Indiana. In 1992, he acquired his first two firms, Dumes Salvage and Southwest Auto, and later a third, Sussman Iron & Metal. The merger between Dumes & Sussman and Sugar Creek Scrap. He passed away in 1998, leaving the firm to his youngest daughter and her family.
